Hawaii Heroes Foundation was founded after recognizing a critical gap in the support available to Hawaii’s first responders and their families. While these courageous men and women dedicate their lives to serving our communities, there has long been an absence of a comprehensive system that provides essential support throughout their careers and beyond.​
 
Our vision is to create a continuum of care that stands beside our heroes from recruit to retiree, while embracing the families who serve alongside them every step of the way. Through our Resilience & Wellness Initiatives, Heroes Legacy Scholarship Program, Financial Assistance for First Responders in Crisis, and recognition and appreciation initiatives, we ensure that those who answer the call to serve—and the loved ones who support them—never have to face life’s challenges alone.​
